The Las Vegas Raiders arrive at Levi's Stadium with renewed confidence. The San Francisco 49ers arrive with extra rest and something to prove.

Las Vegas snapped a four-game losing streak with a 38–33 victory over the Jets, improving to 4–4. San Francisco, meanwhile, returns from its bye at 6–1 after suffering its first defeat, a 29–20 loss to Atlanta. Their November 8 matchup offers a test of whether the Raiders' rebound represents progress or another temporary escape.
The opening market favors San Francisco by 10 points, with a total of 51.5. These predictions envision something more explosive than that total suggests: a quarterback showcase, a monster receiving performance and a decisive fourth-quarter separation.

Brock Purdy throws for 350 yards and four touchdowns

Purdy will deliver his most convincing statistical statement of the season, reaching 350 passing yards and throwing four touchdown passes.

That projection starts with a favorable matchup. Las Vegas has surrendered at least 30 points in five consecutive games, allowing opponents to dictate too many possessions. Even Sunday's victory required the Raiders to overcome 33 points from the Jets.
Purdy already has 1,748 passing yards and 15 touchdowns through seven games. Before the bye, he threw for 288 yards against Atlanta despite injuries affecting several important offensive contributors.
The Raiders should expect Kyle Shanahan to test their coverage communication immediately. Motion, play-action and layered routes can create uncertainty without requiring Purdy to hold the ball for extended periods.
My projection anticipates San Francisco attacking through the air even after establishing a lead. Rather than leaning exclusively on clock management, Shanahan will keep exploiting favorable matchups.

Brock Bowers produces 150 receiving yards and two touchdowns
The Raiders' best answer will come through Brock Bowers, who will turn a difficult road assignment into a dominant individual performance.
The prediction is at least 150 receiving yards and two touchdowns, including one reception covering 40 or more yards.
That would require Las Vegas to build its passing plan around Bowers rather than waiting for him to emerge naturally within the progression. Quick throws would establish his involvement, while crossing routes and seam opportunities would provide the bigger gains.
Kirk Cousins enters the matchup following a three-touchdown performance against the Jets, and his recent play has kept rookie Fernando Mendoza on the sideline.

That continuity matters for this prediction. The Raiders can attack with an experienced quarterback rather than simplifying everything around a developmental transition.
The projected game script should also create volume. If San Francisco scores early, Las Vegas will need to maintain an aggressive passing approach rather than protect field position.
Bowers would become the central answer, particularly on third downs and near the goal line. His production will keep the Raiders competitive longer than expected, even as their defense struggles to match it.
The teams combine for 70 points as San Francisco wins 42–28
The final prediction is a shootout that eventually becomes a comfortable 49ers victory.

A 42–28 result would produce 70 total points, sailing past the opening 51.5-point total while giving San Francisco a 14-point winning margin.

The logic connects the first two bold predictions, Purdy repeatedly punishes defensive breakdowns, while Cousins and Bowers generate enough offense to prevent an early rout.
Ultimately, the difference will be possession-to-possession consistency. Las Vegas will manufacture explosive moments, but San Francisco will sustain more scoring drives and turn one late Raiders mistake into the decisive touchdown.
The Raiders will show offensive resilience. The 49ers will show why their ceiling remains substantially higher.
