The Baltimore Ravens had a horrible Week 8, as not only did they lose to the Buffalo Bills , but they also saw Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley go down with injuries.
After the game, it was revealed that both players would miss an extended amount of time due to their injuries. But the Ravens had yet to make any moves official until now.
The Ravens announced hours before Thursday Night Football that Jackson and Huntley are both going on Injured Reserve, alongside three other roster moves.
Ravens announce Lamar Jackson, Tyler Huntley to IR
"We have signed QB Austin Reed to the 53-man roster and placed QBs Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley on injured reserve," the Ravens announced. "We have also elevated OLB Adisa Isaac and kicker Jake Moody from the practice squad (standard elevations) for tonight's game."
Of these five roster moves, the most notable are the official placements of Jackson and Huntley on their Injured Reserve. Now, both will have to miss at least the next four games.
What that means is that both Jackson, due to his thumb injury, and Huntley, due to his toe injury, will be out through the team's Week 13 bye, as they have to miss Weeks 9, 10, 11, and 12 before being eligible to return.
Huntley has already been ruled out for the remainder of the regular season, while Jackson might also be done for the year, depending on whether the Ravens can survive this next month or so without him.

Joe Fagnano is getting the start in Week 9 against the Jacksonville Jaguars , and Reed will be one of his backups alongside Kedon Slovis after being elevated from the practice squad.
After this week, Jacoby Brissett will likely take over next week after the trade becomes official with the Arizona Cardinals .
With Tyler Loop also hitting IR this week, Moody will be the team's new kicker, and Isaac will act as some extra defensive line depth for this Jaguars matchup.
The biggest takeaway from this announcement is obviously the news that Huntley and Jackson are going on IR. That was known before this news was announced, but now that it's official, the Ravens will be without both QBs until Week 14 at the earliest.
