According to AS , Real Madrid retain complete faith in their 19-year-old prodigy Franco Mastantuono, who is currently on loan at Fiorentina.
The teenager endured a rough start to his stint in Italy, but has since experienced a turnaround of fortunes, even earning a spot back in the Argentina national team setup.
And, even though he had a difficult initiation to life in Europe, Los Blancos retain their trust in the youngster and his quality.
Mastantuono was one of Real Madrid's major investments in the summer of 2025, as the club spent a mammoth €63.2 million to sign the teenage wonderkid from River Plate.
Considering that he was only 18 years old at the time and untested in Europe, it was a huge gamble, but also highlighted the confidence that the Spanish giants had in his talent and potential.

However, following a bright start to life at the Santiago Bernabeu, the teenager endured a difficult debut campaign, finishing with only three goals and an assist from around 1500 minutes of action across 35 games.
With Real Madrid investing in Yan Diomande this summer and Endrick also returning from his loan spell, Mastantuono was shipped out on loan to Fiorentina.
Things did not start well for Mastantuono at Fiorentina. Under Fabio Grosso, in the first four games of the season, the Real Madrid loanee struggled to no end and seemed to have lost full confidence. It did not help matters that the team as a whole was performing poorly.
Fiorentina decided it was time for a change and brought back former manager Paolo Vanoli, and the move has sparked a positive reaction from both Mastantuono and the team.

In his first game under the new manager, the Argentine international scored a brilliant hat-trick against Venezia, and followed it up with solid displays against Pisa (Coppa Italia) and Napoli.
Having made it back to the Argentina squad, Mastantuono impressed in his second-half cameo against Bolivia.
While the youngster is happy in Italy , his ultimate goal remains to return to Spain and succeed at Real Madrid. And the Merengues , for their part, have complete and total faith in the youngster's abilities.
