Justin Gonzales , a 19-year-old right-handed-hitting outfield prospect who stands at 6-foot-5, is one of the top players on the Red Sox ' Spring Breakout game roster.
Rosters were announced Thursday. The Red Sox prospects will play the Orioles prospects on March 20 at 6:05 p.m. at Ed Smith Stadium in Sarasota.

Baseball America ranks Gonzales the Red Sox' No. 7 overall prospect. He has had exit velocities of 117.3 mph, 110.0 mph and 108.8 mph in major league spring training games so far.
Fellow Red Sox top 10 prospects Franklin Arias (SS), Kyson Witherspoon (RHP), Juan Valera (RHP), Jake Bennett (LHP), Dorian Soto (SS), Marcus Phillips (RHP) and Henry Godbout (2B) are also on the roster.
The Sox drafted both Witherspoon and Phillips in the first round and Godbout in the second round in 2025. Boston '25 third-round pick Anthony Eyanson will participate in the game as well.
Baseball America ranks Arias No. 49 and Witherspoon No. 69 on its Top 100 prospect list. The 20-year-old Arias finished last season at Double-A Portland and batted .278 with a .335 on-base percentage across three levels. The Red Sox want to see him hit the ball in the air more frequently. Baseball America, meanwhile, named Witherspoon one of 12 draft prospects who could make his MLB debut in 2026. He has yet to make his professional debut.

Godbout is an intriguing second base prospect who has elite contact skills and believes he can develop into a 30-home run hitter.
Valera could be primed for a breakout season in 2026 after missing much of 2025 with elbow soreness. Valera reached 100 mph in a spring training game as an 18-year-old last March.
Bennett and righty Tyler Uberstine are the only two members of the Red Sox' 40-man roster who will participate in the game. Boston acquired Bennett in the offseason in a swap of prospects that sent Luis Perales to Washington .
Infielder Mikey Romero, who's in big league camp and put on approximately 12 pounds during the offseason , is on the Spring Breakout game roster as well.

"The guy can hit," manager Alex Cora said about Romero. "He's a good hitter. And he did an amazing job physically. You see the difference compared to last year."
