The Brooklyn Nets have been active at the deadline as they look to move forward with their rebuilding plan. GM Sean Marks and his staff orchestrated a move on Wednesday to bring in Ochai Agbaji from the Toronto Raptors , and they have now made two moves on Thursday to bring in two more young players.
The Nets have reportedly acquired Hunter Tyson and a 2032 second-round pick from the Denver Nuggets in exchange for the less favorable of a 2026 second-round pick via the Los Angeles Clippers or the Atlanta Hawks .
Tyson has played 21 games in his third season with the Nuggets averaging 2.2 points and 1.7 rebounds while shooting 21.2% from deep. The Nets offer him an opportunity to continue his growth.
In a separate move, the Nets have also acquired Josh Minott from the Boston Celtics . In his fourth season in the league, Minott is averaging 5.8 points and 3.6 rebounds while shooting 44.2% from deep in 33 games with 10 starts. He has averaged 15.9 minutes per game for the Celtics.
With less than an hour to go before the deadline, one has to wonder what else Marks and the Nets will do.
