The Carolina Panthers are reportedly ready to go all-in on Bryce Young.
After entering his fourth season without a second contract, it seems the former No. 1 pick 's hot start to 2026 has been enough to win the organization over.
Young is currently top 10 in the NFL in both passing touchdowns and passing yards, despite back-to-back underwhelming performances in losses to the Bucs and Packers.

Bryce Young, Panthers 'far down the road' towards 'massive' second contract
Per Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk, there's been increasing "chatter" that Young and the Panthers are quietly working towards a massive second contract that would place him amongst the highest-paid QBs in the league.
"As to Young, we've recently caught wind of chatter that the Panthers are 'far down the road' toward signing him to a second deal in excess of $50 million per year," the PFT founder reported .
Young is currently under contract through 2027, with his fifth-year option already exercised. His guaranteed salary without an extension next season is set to be $25.9 million, and the franchise tag could become an option in '28 should a deal not materialize.
Young has a lot of what team's look for in a franchise quarterback from an intangibles standpoint and he's continued to improve year-over-year.
Now it's just a matter of how soon the two sides are able to keep him in Carolina as the Panthers sit in first place in the NFC South.
