Richarlison has been spotted in a Tottenham Hotspur jersey for the first time in nearly two months, lining up for the U21s in Tuesday's Jersey Mike's Trophy match at Cheltenham Town.
The 29-year-old was omitted from Roberto De Zerbi's Premier League squad for the current campaign and wasn't selected for their Carabao Cup exit at Liverpool, meaning his most recent appearance for Spurs came in the opening-day loss at Brentford on August 22.
Now, with overage players permitted in the lineup, Richarlison will take on League Two club Cheltenham in the EFL Trophy to maintain his match fitness and sharpness under development squad manager Wayne Burnett.

Richarlison finds himself in a state of uncertainty at the North London side, having been excluded from De Zerbi's 25-man squad for the Premier League as Spurs could only register 17 non-homegrown players with the league, which remains unchanged until the next English transfer window.
De Zerbi informed football.london that Richarlison has requested a departure from the club this summer, and the Italian consequently chose Xavi Simons in his squad ahead of the striker, despite the Dutchman facing additional months on the sidelines as he continues his recovery from the anterior cruciate ligament injury he sustained in April.
Richarlison rejected approaches from his former club Everton and Vasco da Gama, the team he supported growing up, before both the English and Brazilian transfer windows shut. He was particularly interested in a temporary loan switch to Vasco, but Tottenham had already reached their international loan limit.
His representatives have investigated legal avenues to terminate his contract with Tottenham, which runs until next summer, with the club holding an option to extend it by a further 12 months.
