"You know, losing a guy like Erick, who brought a lot of toughness to what we do, and losing Tanner (Hudson), who plays a lot of different roles for us, really,"Burrow said Oct. 28. "Those are two huge losses for us that … you can't really replace with just two guys," Burrow continued.

In 2023,Smith saidBurrow's wrist injury was something that sometimes happens "when you play the Ravens' (defense)."
"You know, he's a great player," Smith said of Burrow. "I've got a lot of respect for him, the way he plays the game. But, hey, injury's part of the game so, you know, when you play the Ravens' D, sometimes things like that happen."
