The New Orleans Saints were able to get some rest this week as they were on their bye, but that doesn't mean that changes weren't coming either. With the run game not being productive, they decided to move on from T. J. Paganetti, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
"Coming off the bye, the Saints made a significant change, moving on from run game coordinator T. J. Paganetti, sources say. Run-game issues have plagued the team this year," Rapoport wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
Travis Etienne has missed the last few weeks with a hamstring injury, which has led Alvin Kamara to take his place as the starter. Still, there has not been much success on the ground.

This should come as no surprise, especially after their loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Paris. Following the game, Moore was asked if there would be some changes to the team, and he said they would evaluate if staff changes are needed.
If the Saints continue to lose throughout the season, there may be even more staff changes, which is why the team needs to find a way to get back into the win column sooner rather than later. Owner Gayle Benson has already shared how she feels about the way the team has performed this season, and she wasn't happy. Earlier in the year, she said their performance was acceptable.
"We are 1-4, and that is not acceptable to me, and falls short of what our fans truly deserve," Benson said. "Words will not restore our fans' confidence. Our performance must do that."
The Saints were able to win a game after that, but they also lost one. With some of the changes they made during the bye week, the hope is that they can get back on track.
