💥 Como crisis: KO at Sassuolo, Champions League ❌ Volpato-Nzola top
Matchday 33 of Serie A gets off to a flying start. At the Mapei Stadium, Sassuolo hit top gear at the end of the first half and, with a deadly one-two, brought down Como . Everything happened at the end of the opening period, with goals from Volpato (a lob) and Nzola (who also provided the assist), and Nico Paz 's looping header making it 2-1
A serious slump for Como, who have picked up just 1 point from their last 3 matches and give Juventus the chance to move 5 points clear, while Roma can overtake the Lariani and begin chasing a Champions League spot.

🪄 Paz unique in Europe
A sensational stat for Nico Paz who, as highlighted by Opta, is the only midfielder to have scored at least 5 goals both at home and away in Europe's top five leagues.
🌈 DEADLY counterattack: Volpato with the lob. Nzola doubles it. Paz pulls one back
A crazy end to the first half at the Mapei Stadium, as highlighted by Lega Serie A.
With the last playable ball of the half, Nico Paz pulled one back: Smolcic cross, the Argentine's header loops up and the ball goes over Turati .
A lethal end to the first half from Sassuolo, who doubled their lead two minutes after Volpato's goal and left Como in trouble. Laurienté played Nzola through, all alone against Butez , and he made no mistake. A great performance from the Angolan.
Sassuolo are deadly on the counter and took the lead from a Como corner. Laurienté was brilliant in taking the risk and playing his way out of pressure. Sent through on the break, Nzola squared for Volpato, who beat Butez with a lob from outside the box, once again.
⏰ Thorstvedt goes close: scare after 20 seconds
With their very first attack, Sassuolo nearly scored. Laurienté sends Nzola through, he gets into the box and lays it off to Thorstvedt, whose left-footed effort (deflected) flashes just wide of the post.
🔥 Fabregas ' words on Morata
Cesc Fabregas, Como's coach, spoke to DAZN shortly before kick-off and focused on Alvaro Morata. Here are his words.

"In the last few matches he has come on very well and he deserves it. If I have to play with 11 18-year-olds, I'll do it without any fear. I think it's the right match for him, he has to put in a great performance."
