3-1 victory v Jordan | Public Viewing for the next game
Austria kicked off the 2026 FIFA World Cupwith a resounding victory – and Alex Schlager was right in the thick of it! Our goalkeeper guarded the Austrian goal today in the 3-1 win against Jordanin San Francisco, making a series of saves (three in total). The 30-year-old was powerless to stop the only goal conceded – a perfectly placed shot from Ali Olwan that struck the inside of the post.
