Dramatic late Austria n equaliser sends them through
Wow!Austria advanced to the Round of 32 at the 2026 FIFA World Cup after a thrilling 3-3 draw against Algeria , and after a final few minutes that were mind-blowing! Our goalkeeper Alex Schlager – who had no chance in stopping the three goals – and his Austria teammates found themselves trailing 2-3 after twice taking the lead, but Sasa Kalajdzic 's last-second equaliser secured second place in the group and a spot in the knockout stages.
