Bobo, 28, appeared in 11 games during the 2025 season. He recorded two receptions on two targets for 20 yards during the campaign. His placement on injured reserve now opens the door for Hicks to compete for a role as Seattle evaluates its depth at receiver.
Hicks joins the Seahawks with limited time remaining before the regular season, making the team's remaining preseason games particularly important as he gets acclimated to the offense.
Seattle will continue its preseason schedule Sunday against Tennessee after the teams held joint practices ahead of the matchup.
The Seahawks and Titans will kick off at 8 p.m. ET on FOX as Seattle continues evaluating its roster ahead of the 2026 NFL season.
