Denver Broncos coach Sean Payton provided a positive early update on Pat Bryant after the receiver was carted off the field late in Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars .
"He's got movement, that's encouraging," Payton said during his postgame press conference following a 34-20 loss . "I'll get an update here probably in the next 15 minutes, but he was moving his hands and his legs. So as we know more, we'll let you know."
Bryant took a hard hit from Jacksonville cornerback Montaric Brown on the second-to-last play of the game and stayed down on the field. Players from both teams gathered around him as he was loaded into a cart and taken off the field to an ambulance.
Bryant was taken to a local hospital for concussion-like symptoms, not neurological symptoms, according to KUSA-TV's Mike Klis . We will post any upcoming updates on Broncos Wire .
