Liverpool will be adding an exciting new attacker to their ranks very soon.
Andoni Iraola's start to his career at Anfield has been very exciting so far. Liverpool are playing like the fans have wanted them to play for over a year.
Iraola's football is quick, attacking and exciting to watch. More importantly, Iraola has had a knack for bringing the best out of the club's burgeoning young players.
Lewis Koumas is playing out of his skin. Rio Ngumoha is finally ascending to the upper echelons of the footballing world, and Trey Nyoni has established himself as an absolute superstar in the middle of the park.
The exciting part is that there are so many young players ready to break through, some are even more talented than those in the first-team right now.
It was so frustrating last season when Liverpool were filled to the brim with exciting attacking talent but Arne Slot could simply not get the best out of them.
Under Iraola things are different. Alexander Isak is actually playing well and scoring goals. The wingers are all making important contributions.
Aside from Ngumoha, Victor Munoz, Cody Gakpo and Bradley Barcola have all been very effective.
The prospect of adding Hugo Ekitike to this list when he returns from injury is simply mouth-watering. Just imagine how exciting and good he will look in this side.
But there's also Will Wright ready to breakthrough. Jayden Danns if he can just escape his niggles could also become an excellent option.
The likes of Joshua Abe and Erik Farkas could also bolster Iraola's depth in the coming years to come. Not to mention Djylian N'Guessan has also agreed a move to Anfield.
This summer, Liverpool agreed a new contract with Keyrol Figueroa before sending him out on loan to Port Vale.
During the September and October international break, Figueroa scored his first goal for Honduras in a crucial game against Jamaica, netting the winner in a 1-0 game.
Last season, Figueroa only started 10 games for Liverpool's U21 side, coming on as a substitute more often, and yet he managed to score 12 goals.
For Port Vale, he's now played around 227 minutes, coming off the bench five times and starting one game. In that period, he has scored three goals off the bench against Gillingham, Manchester City's U21 side and Rochdale.
In total, Figueroa has scored four goals for club and country in about 354 minutes averaging a goal every 81.5 minutes in his last eight matches.
He is proving he is a phenomenal goal-scorer with a great understanding for the game. With this kind of form, he will be catapulting himself to Liverpool's first-team very soon when his loan spell expires.
