The North Carolina Tar Heels are closing out the 2025 calendar year on a positive note. In their Atlantic Coast Conference opener, North Carolina took care of business by beating Florida State 79-66.
Not only did they open up 1-0 in ACC play, but they are 13-1 going into the new year. That's their best start in years, and they are riding a lot of momentum into the rest of conference play. UNC is playing some of their best basketball at the moment, but they have to find a way to carry that over into the final two months of this season.
