The match was played at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán and was valid for the second round of Group A3 in the Uefa Nations League A.
La Roja now have 31 wins and nine draws.

🇪🇸 Spain 4 x 1 Croatia 🇭🇷
Croatia - beginning a new cycle under Slaven Bilić - barely even had a chance to try anything.
Spain's initiative down the left came at high speed, with Fermín letting the ball run and Yamal's curling strike giving Livaković no chance.
A goal after just one minute and ten seconds.
That makes it two straight games celebrating before the second minute - something unprecedented in Spain's history.
Croatia equalized with their first chance thanks to Beljo (28').
But La Roja 's response did not take long.
