Randal Kolo Muani has been an important player for Juventus since he joined them permanently from PSG in the last transfer window, and he is a key figure in their latest formation, which uses two strikers. He and Nick Woltemade seem to play well together, but he is still not scoring, and so far, Woltemade has been more useful on the pitch than he has been.
With that in mind, Luciano Spalletti is set to drop the Frenchman from his starting XI against Genoa, according to multiple reports via Football Italia . Some of his best performances for the team have come when he came into the game as a second-half substitute, and Kolo Muani continues to push to score more.
He is set to play as an impact substitute against Genoa, and Juve expects him to deliver when he comes on, especially as there would be tired legs on the Genoa team. The striker's quality is not in question, and his ability to change games from the bench is a strength, but he must now prove it.
The competition for places is fierce, and the manager's decision is clear. The team's depth is a major advantage, and the fans expect it.

Kolo Muani can honestly say that he has not been playing at his best since he joined the Bianconeri, and he certainly has to improve his performance if he wants to help the team achieve its goals. For now, the manager has to make the decision he thinks is best and Spalletti thinks benching Kolo Muani could unlock the team.
The Frenchman's talent is not in doubt, and the club's faith in him is clear. The opportunity is there, and it is up to him to take it. The coming weeks will show whether he can.
