Victor Wembanyama and company successfully tied their 2026 Western Conference Finals series against the reigning NBA champions with a decisive 103-82 victory at Frost Bank Center in San Antonio , Texas, on Sunday night.
Wembanyama was the clear hero of the evening for the Spurs, as he led all scorers in the contest with 33 points on 11-for-22 shooting from the field to go along with eight rebounds, five assists, three blocks and two steals in 31 minutes of action.
The Spurs took control of Game 4 early with a hot start. They outscored Oklahoma City in the first quarter, 28-19, and never looked back the rest of the way. Wembanyama even made a wild buzzer-beating shot from the halfcourt to give San Antonio a 12-point lead at the half.
Apart from Wembanyama's brilliance, the Spurs won Game 4 on the strength of their stout defense. San Antonio held the Thunder to only 33 percent shooting from the field and forced 20 Oklahoma City turnovers. Those miscues by the Thunder were turned into 25 points by San Antonio, which also outscored Oklahoma City in the paint by 14 points (50-36).
Devin Vassell and Stephon Castle each added 13 points for the Spurs. Kelly Olynyk came off the bench and scored just three points, but he had three of the Spurs' 11 steals despite playing only four minutes.
As for the Thunder, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander paced them with 19 points.
The Spurs and the Thunder will have a day off on Monday before returning to action for a pivotal Game 5 at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City on Tuesday.
