The Pittsburgh Steelers will be going into the season with some familiarity at the quarterback position, as Aaron Rodgers returns for his final season in the NFL. To make things even better for him, he'll be coached by Mike McCarthy , who accepted the job during the offseason after Mike Tomlin made the decision not to return.
Rodgers and McCarthy are all too familiar with each other, as they won a Super Bowl on the Green Bay Packers . Rodgers recently spoke about working with McCarthy again, and the type of offense he knows will probably be ran under him.
"It's just the next generations of the West Coast offense," Rodgers said via TribLive.com. "It went kind of Bill Walsh to kind of what Mike was doing with Paul Hackett, and then it's kind of grown from there. From a real fundamental level, it's all about the quarterback's timing."

There have already been some changes that Rodgers noticed with McCarthy that included things such as terminology, but other than that, everything else is the same.
"I spent 13 years in [McCarthy's offense]," Rodgers said. "He's changed some stuff when he was in Dallas . . . . It's stuff that we used to run, but he's just called it something different now."
The transition should be easy for Rodgers, and he can get everyone else on board quickly. The one thing that everyone will be looking out for is whether Rodgers can still deliver as he has in the past despite his age. He shut down those rumors last season, helping the Steelers get to the playoffs but losing in the Wild Card Round to the Houston Texans .
