Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers in a game against the Baltimore Ravens on Dec. 7, 2025, — Ed Thompson / Steelers Now
Rodgers threw for 284 yards and one touchdown and ran for another as the Steelers emerged with a 27-22 victory on Dec. 7 at M&T Bank Stadium to move ahead of the Ravens for the top spot in the AFC North.
Rodgers started the scoring with a real throwback — a 1-yard scramble for a touchdown followed by his famous discount double check celebration.
But it was even before that play that Rodgers showed that day was going to be different. He hit DK Metcalf on a 52-yard bomb on the team's first offensive play — one of three deep passes from Rodgers to Metcalf in the game.
Entering the contest, the Steelers hadn't completed a pass over 20 air yards since Week 8, but Rodgers — still shaking off the effects of a wrist injury and wearing a cast on his left wrist — turned that narrative around in a big way.
He finished 23 of 34 for 284 yards, and threw a touchdown pass to Jaylen Warren in addition to his rushing score.

In Pittsburgh, the Steelers have won four of the last five at Acrisure Stadium, and are 21-12 overall at their home stadium against Baltimore.
