The Kansas City Chiefs and Seattle Seahawks battled at Arrowhead Stadium on Friday night for the preseason finale. It was a low-scoring contest, with the Kansas City starters making a cameo appearance on the first drive.
Quarterback Garrett Nussmeier had the entire game to himself, as he maintained momentum but threw a costly interception in the first half. Emmitt Johnson continues to prove he's a workhorse running back, while Brashard Smith 's versatility was on display.
R Mason Thomas ' pass-rush ability led the defense, and linebacker Cole Christiansen had 4 tackles and a fumble recovery. Penalties were high from both teams, as expected, with players battling to impress coaches ahead of roster cutdown day.
Check out how some of Kansas City's stars fared in the Chiefs' tie with the Seahawks:
Stock Up: R Mason Thomas

The rookie from Oklahoma has been close in the first two preseason games but finally secured a strip sack in Friday's preseason finale. The lightning-quick pass rusher finished with 2 tackles, a sack, and a forced fumble.
Stock Down: Harrison Butker

Butker had the standout moment last week with his 69-yard field goal but has since struggled with multiple missed field-goal attempts, including another on Friday night. He made three field goals, but the misses are concerning heading into the regular season.
Stock Up: Brashard Smith

A much-needed spark on special teams from Smith in the return game just propelled his stock to another level. He had a 57-yard kick return in the first half while leading the team in rushing with 16 carries for 71 yards.
