The Southwestern Athletic Conference has announced the coaches and student-athletes who will represent each of its 12 football programs at the 2026 SWAC Football Media Day.

This year's event will take place Wednesday, July 15, in Birmingham, Alabama, bringing together every SWAC head coach and two player representatives as the conference officially kicks off the 2026 football season.
The annual event follows an exciting 2025 campaign in which Prairie View A&M captured the SWAC championship in Tremaine Jackson's first season leading the Panthers . Jackson State will look to reclaim the conference crown after falling short last season, while Alabama State enters the year with renewed expectations after quarterback Andrew Body returned to the Hornets following a brief stint in the transfer portal.
Media Day will also mark the first SWAC appearance for Florida A&M head coach Quinn Gray Sr., the former Rattlers quarterback who returned to his alma mater after a successful run at Albany State . Pro Football Hall of Famer and Southern head coach Marshall Faulk will likewise make his SWAC Media Day debut as he begins his first season leading the Jaguars.
Below is the complete list of coaches and student-athletes scheduled to attend the 2026 SWAC Football Media Day.
