- ‘Taylor go get your husband’: Swifties react to emotional Travis Kelce after Chiefs loss

The Kansas City Chiefs were one play away from beating the Denver Broncos on Sunday, but a late penalty took what appeared to be the game-winning touchdown off the board, and Travis Kelce was visibly frustrated about it after the game.
In the locker room, the veteran tight end took aim at the Chiefs' procedural mistakes, and he put plenty of the blame on himself. Fans quickly flooded social media with reactions to the emotional moment.
Kansas City took a 24-13 lead into the fourth quarter in Denver. But the Broncos scored the game's final 15 points, going ahead on a Jonah Coleman touchdown run with under two minutes remaining.
The Chiefs drove all the way to the Denver 1-yard line with four seconds left. Then a false start on right tackle Jaylon Moore moved them back 5 yards, and Patrick Mahomes was sacked on the last play of the 28-24 loss.
Kansas City was flagged 11 times for 105 yards, falling to 5-2 and behind the 6-2 Broncos in the AFC West. Brittany Mahomes was not happy with the officiating , and even President Donald Trump called it "a nasty ending."
Kelce tried to stay positive at first as he made it clear that there are still "positives" to take away from the game.
"We got a lot of fight. You gotta take the positives out of this. You can't dwell on it. It's a pretty good football team. Obviously, in our hearts, we feel like we should have came out with a victory, but at the same time, that's not the reality of things. The reality of things is we got to fix a lot," Kelce said, in a video shared by The Athletic .
Then he turned to the mistakes, starting with himself, and he was clearly emotional while discussing his frustration.
"And the little things, mistakes, and it starts with the person that you're looking at in the mirror. I'm one of them. I've been frustrated with myself on how long I've been in the league and the procedural stuff that's happened for the past three games, really. Really since the bye and it's frustrating. You just can't f***ing do it. I gotta be better for my teammates and that sets the tone for a lot of people in this room. Everybody's just gotta up the ante from that," Kelce said.
Plenty of fans, many of them Swifties, felt for Kelce after seeing the video.
"Why he look like he shed some tears Taylor go get your husband he going through it girl," wrote one fan .
"stop I can't with his teary eyes take his pain and it give it butker omg," wrote another , referencing Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker.
"everyone be nice to him right now," another fan wrote .

"I don't know what he said because I got lost in his eyes (sorry Taylor)," another fan joked .
"why all this panic the chances of making it to the playoffs are still pretty high aren't they genuinely asking cause i want to see tay," wrote fan account Swifties HQ .
The Chiefs will try to bounce back when they host the New York Jets in Week 9. Needless to say, the Swifties will be watching closely.
