It is officially crossover season in Fort Worth, as the latest batch of Horned Frogs led TCU to a resounding 98-59 win over Lindenwood inside Schollmaier Arena.
After another trip to the NCAA Tournament under former Horned Frog turned head coach Jamie Dixon, expectations are high for the program this year.
In the debut victory, TCU showcased its depth alongside a high-powered offense that could go a long way in a Big 12 that is anything but a cake walk.
The Horned Frogs led as much as 45 points against the Lions and only trailed once in the entire game when the score 3-1 in the opening minutes.
Five Horned Frogs finished in double figures with one other knocking on the door after a nine-point night.

This group included starters Micah Robinson, who tied for the lead amongst all scorers with 19 points on an efficient 5-of-7 shooting performance, and Brock Harding, who turned in a 17-point outing.
Off the bench, West Virginia transfer forward DJ Thomas matched Robinson with 19 points alongside five steals. Gulf Coast State transfer Trent Lincoln dropped 12 points in his Horned Frogs debut in relief.
Fellow starters Tanner Toolson and Xavier Edmonds rounded out the top five scorers for TCU, with 10 points and nine points against the Lions, respectively.
Elsewhere in the lineup, only two Horned Frogs that played for more than one minute failed to score at all, including the final starter in Texas Tech transfer Luke Bamgboye.
As a team, the Horned Frogs shot nearly 50 percent from the field at 47 percent and were able to eclipse the halfway mark from beyond the 3-point arc at 53 percent.
Outside of scoring, TCU limited mistakes on offense, with six steals given up to Lindenwood and committing 13 total turnovers that resulted in just eight points for the Lions.

Defensively, TCU held the Lions to 40 percent from the field and allowed them to convert under a quarter of their 3-point attempts with 24 percent on 5-of-21 shooting from deep.
TCU also forced Lindenwood into 20 turnovers and turned those into 28 points on the other end.
Although the Horned Frogs are expected to have won this matchup and many other early games on their schedule, the strong points from TCU help reveal its place as a serious threat within the Big 12.
Dixon and company look to turn their opening win into a winning streak by hosting Southern at Schollmaier Arena at 7 p.m. CT on Friday night in Fort Worth.
