Saleh will become a head coach for the second time in his career. He coached the New York Jets from 2021 to 2024, going 20-36. Saleh also worked as the defensive coordinator for San Francisco from 2017-2020.
He has worked with the Houston Texans , Seattle Seahawks , Jacksonville Jaguars and Green Bay Packers in various roles, as well.
Saleh will call defensive plays for the Titans, according to a report from Garafolo. He did not get the opportunity while coaching the Jets.
Tennessee fired its head coach, Brian Callahan , in October after a 1-5 start to the season. The Titans went on to finish the season 3-14 and will have the No. 4 overall pick in the NFL draft after having the top pick in the 2025 draft.
Last year, Tennessee selected quarterback Cam Ward with that top spot.
