Thunder trying to punt Nuggets game with injury report, but will Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray play? appeared first on ClutchPoints . Add ClutchPoints as a Preferred Source by clicking here .
The Oklahoma City Thunder travel to face the Denver Nuggets on Friday night in what should have been a marquee Western Conference clash. However, the Thunder's injury report suggests that the No. 1 seed has no intention of risking their best players, with as many as 10 players listed as out on the official injury list.
OKC arrive to this one after winning seven games on the trot and will be happier with Denver finishing in the No. 3 position, as that would mean they only have to face one of Denver and the San Antonio Spurs in the playoffs. Regardless, the Nuggets are being chased by the Los Angeles Lakers and the Houston Rockets, who are both on 51-29 for the season.
However, that does not mean they do not have injury concerns of their own. Both Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray have been listed as questionable on the official injury report for this one.
While Jokic is recovering from a right wrist injury, Murray has a right shoulder impingement. Aaron Gordon is also listed as questionable due to a right hamstring injury while the likes of Spencer Jones and Peyton Watson are out for this one.

The Nuggets have listed Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon as questionable. However, all of them can be expected to play considering Denver needs to finish on a high.
They enter this matchup riding a 10-game winning streak, the longest in the Jokic era. All three of Jokic, Murray and Gordon played in their most recent win and can be expected to suit up again.
While Jokic has once again been an MVP contender with averages of 27.8 points, 12.9 rebounds and 10.9 assists, Murray is in the middle of a career season. His averages of 25.4 points, 7.1 assists and 4.4 rebounds are all career-highs and have already resulted in his first All-Star appearance.
Regardless, the Thunder appear content in resting all of their best players. The likes of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Alex Caruso, Isaiah Hartenstein and Chet Holmgren are only some of the stars listed as out for this one.
