- Titans pick Arkansas OL Fernando Carmona Jr. in 2026 NFL Draft: Highlights, stats
Arkansas football 's Fernando Carmona Jr. is officially an NFL rookie after getting picked by the Tennessee Titans in the 2026 NFL Draft.
The Titans selected Carmona in the fifth round with the 142nd overall pick in the draft on Saturday, April 25th. Carmona entered the weekend with uncertainty whether he would hear his name called.
Here's a look at what Carmona brings to Tennessee, along with his college stats and NFL combine results.
Support for Cam Ward can come in all different forms. Here, it arrives in more help up front. Carmona likely is more of a depth piece than a future starter, but he still carries some value as someone who can be a savvy backup and step in when necessary.
Carmona will come in and compete for a spot on the inside for a rebuilding team. There is a high ceiling and a low floor with this pick, but that's a worthwhile risk for a Tennessee team looking to maximize its talent on offense and provide help to last year's No. 1 pick.
Carmona started all 25 games he played in during his two seasons with the Razorbacks. As a redshirt senior in 2025, the Las Vegas native moved inside to left guard and paved the way for six games of 500-plus yards of total offense.
In 2024, Carmona was Arkansas ' left tackle and helped the Razorbacks average 459.5 yards of total offense per game, which ranked 10th nationally. He was named All-SEC Third Team by the league's coaches.
The offensive lineman spent his first three collegiate seasons at San Jose State and became the starting left tackle for the Spartans as a redshirt freshman in 2022.
