New York Yankees 1B Paul Goldschmidt has rebounded from a second-half power outage last season to lead the Yankees offense without OF Aaron Judge (ribs). He looks to cash a YRFI against an old teammate on the Boston Red Sox . The pitching matchup between the Washington Nationals and Baltimore Orioles is a sneaky one that bodes well for an NRFI cash.
It's a typical Sunday with mostly day games, highlighted by the Yankees and Red Sox on Sunday Night Baseball.

New York Yankees at Boston Red Sox YRFI (+105)
The Yankees send LHP Carlos Rodon to the mound on Sunday Night Baseball. He's 4-2 with a 3.70 ERA on the year. He has been OK at a 3.38 ERA in the first this season, but he has predominately struggled in the first with a 4.38 ERA in his career. RHP Sonny Gray goes for the Red Sox, and he snapped a five-start string of allowing a run in the first in his last outing. He has a 5.14 ERA in the first this season, and the Yanks got to him in the first in his start against them on June 5.
Washington Nationals at Baltimore Orioles NRFI (+100)
Nats RHP Zack Littell makes the Sunday start, and he won't wow you with his 6-6 record or 5.40 ERA. He has been rock solid in the first, though, with a 2.45 ERA . Facing him will be NRFI darling RHP Kyle Bradish . He's 5-7 with a 3.64 ERA on the season. He has allowed just two earned runs in 16 first frames for a 1.12 ERA .
Atlanta Braves at San Francisco Giants NRFI (-150)
Braves ace Chris Sale takes the mound at 8-5 with a 2.14 ERA. He has just a 1.29 ERA in the first inning with 20 K's in 14 starts. Giants LHP Robbie Ray is projected to start, and he's 6-6 with a 3.70 ERA on the season. He hasn't given up a first-inning run in five starts, and his ERA sits at 3.00 in the opening frame.
What Does NRFI and YRFI Mean in Baseball?
The term NRFI indicates no runs scored in the first inning. Its opposite, YRFI, indicates yes, a run will be scored in the first inning. It doesn't matter if the run qualifies as an earned run or not. If a run crosses the plate in the first inning for either team, the wager loses for the NRFI side and wins for the YRFI side.
