Many of the top-tier free agents in this class — first baseman Pete Alonso , outfielder Cody Bellinger , shortstop Bo Bichette , third baseman Alex Bregman , right-handed pitchers Dylan Cease and Michael King , left-handed pitcher Framber Valdez and outfielder Kyle Tucker — remain on the market, as the league waits for the snowball to start rolling.
A few players became intriguing additions to this winter's free agency , including outfielder Adolis Garcia, as 66 players were non-tendered by their respective teams.
That list included three players from the Guardians , who opted to not tender contracts to outfielder Will Brennan , left-handed reliever Sam Hentges and right-handed reliever Nic Enright .
