One of the top wide receiver prospects in the 2026 NFL Draft has a clear message for the Pittsburgh Steelers .
There is a strong belief that the Pittsburgh Steelers will use their first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft on a wide receiver, and one of the top prospects warned them that they better not pass up the opportunity to draft him, if given the chance.
Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion sent a clear message to the entire NFL that he is the best wide receiver in this year's draft.
"I'm the best receiver in this draft. Period. I run crisp routes. I catch everything thrown anywhere near me. I work my tail off every practice, every drill. I get in and out of my breaks fast. And I will outwork ANYBODY you put in front of me," Concepcion wrote in a letter . "So if you're a GM out there reading this, put me on your team, and let's get to work. You're not going to regret calling my name. Never. And I mean never ."
Concepcion, 21, is a very intriguing player who's coming off an impressive three-year collegiate career at NC State (2023-24) and Texas A&M (2025).
During that span, he racked up 185 catches for 2,218 yards and 25 touchdowns. He also ran for 431 yards and three more scores.

However, the consensus does not agree with Concepcion that he is the top wide receiver prospect.
He currently ranks as the No. 26 overall player and fifth-best wide receiver on the NFL Mock Draft Database's consensus big board , behind Ohio State's Carnell Tate (No. 7), USC's Makai Lemon (No. 12), Arizona State's Jordyn Tyson (No. 15) and Indiana's Omar Cooper Jr. (No. 22).
The Steelers seem to be out of reach of the top three wide receivers, though. So barring a trade up, they could have the choice between Cooper and Concepcion, and if they pick Concepcion in that scenario, they may just land the steal of the draft.
