The first leg of the quarterfinal series will be played on Nov. 14 at a location to be announced once the United States' opponent is determined.
Players from FC Cincinnati and D.C. United warmed up in the rain Sept. 5, 2026, before their game at TQL Stadium was postponed.
"For our first official match of the new cycle, we couldn't ask for a better host than Cincinnati. The Nations League is an important competition and a great opportunity to begin challenging the group in these types of matches," USMNT head coach Mauricio Pochettino said. "The fans in Cincinnati have always shown amazing support for the National Team when we needed them the most, and we look forward to the energy they will bring which is so important to our players."
This will be the USMNT's sixth trip to Cincinnati. It has gone undefeated in its last four trips to the Queen City, including a 1-1 draw with New Zealand on Sept. 10, 2024.
