- Trace Ford was New York Giants' highest-graded player in win over Jets
The box score already told the story of Friday night. The New York Giants rolled to a 23-6 preseason finale win over the New York Jets , sat most of their projected starters, and handed the tape to the players still fighting for a roster spot.
Pro Football Focus has now put numbers on that tape. The grades will not decide Sunday's cut to 53 by themselves, but they offer a cleaner look at who actually won their snaps when the first-team units were watching from the sideline. A 37-yard touchdown throw, a leaping interception and three made field goals all look different once the charting is finished.
