A hybrid inside/outside linebacker, Trey Moore was the Miami Dolphins ' fourth-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft in April.
Moore is slated to take on a starting role with the Dolphins and is even listed with the ones on Miami's official depth chart .
"Moore has been a very valuable and versatile weapon who Jeff Hafley was moving all over the field in practice and in preseason Week 1," Joe Schad wrote.
"He gives you a linebacker who can play all three downs," Dolphins head coach Jeff Hafley said. "He can play in zone, is good against the run, and has rush value. I like the way he's practiced."
If Moore misses an extended period of time, the Dolphins are going to have to figure out who will replace him.
Ronnie Harrison Jr., Kyle Louis, Jackson Woodard and Willie Gay Jr. are the players listed behind the starting linebackers on the Dolphins' depth chart.
