The left-handed pitcher impressed in the minor leagues as well, recording a 2.20 ERA across six total outings (two starts).

Overall, the Twins have had ups and downs this season . The team is 6-4 over its past 10 games. They are in third place in the American League Central standings with a 27-30 record as of this story's writing. Minnesota trails the Cleveland Guardians for first place in the division by 5.5 games.
