The 0-6 Los Angeles Chargers are expected by many to be sellers ahead of the NFL's Nov. 10 trade deadline, and several of their key players have been mentioned as potential trade candidates.
Edge rushers Khalil Mack and Tuli Tuipulotu, safety Derwin James Jr. and wide receiver Quentin Johnston are the names most frequently mentioned as far as players who could be sent away. But perhaps few players on the roster will be locks to remain in place once the deadline passes about two and a half weeks from now.
These two players may not be as attractive on the open market as Mack, Tuipulotu or James, but they could net the Chargers a draft pick, and the Chargers do need to stockpile draft picks in order to execute a talent infusion that would help them turn things around as soon as possible.
Kimani Vidal

Vidal was a bit of an afterthought for the Chargers coming into this season, as starter Omarion Hampton was being picked by some to have a monster season in new offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel's scheme. But Hampton has been mortal this season, and his touches have dropped since Week 2. Last Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, Hampton took just seven carries for 18 yards.
In the meantime, Vidal's usage has ticked up over the last few weeks. He had 57 rushing yards and one touchdown in Week 5 versus the Denver Broncos, and last Sunday, he logged seven carries, although he only totaled 21 rushing yards.
At age 25 and in his third season, Vidal could be seen as a decent depth piece for a team looking to solidify its positioning heading into the second half of the season.
David Njoku

Coming into this season, one may have thought that Njoku, a veteran who was a Pro Bowler in 2023 while with the Cleveland Browns, was going to play a sizable role in L.A.'s offense. Instead, he has just 67 yards on six receptions in two games.
He had 58 of those yards in Week 1 versus the Arizona Cardinals before suffering a knee and fibula injury the following week versus the Las Vegas Raiders. He could be nearing a return within the next couple of weeks, and he could give a contending team a bit of an offensive boost, as well as some veteran experience.
