(USA TODAY Network via Reuters Connect)
It was a big week for the Tampa Bay Rays farm system, as some of the top prospects made their debuts at higher levels.
It was a sight to see in Durham as the Bulls welcomed two top-20 prospects in the Rays system, according to MLB Pipeline, this past week, as both Xavier Isaac and Caden Bodine made their AAA debut .

Isaac, the 22-year-old first baseman who towers at 6'3", 240 lbs., had a great start to his Triple-A campaign. The former 2022 first-round draft pick sent a home run to the opposite field, surpassing 400 feet in his first week at the higher level.
Four games into his Triple-A career, he has a 1.152 OPS across 14 at-bats. He's picking right where he left off with AA Montgomery, where he had a .910 OPS in just under 100 games played.
He wasn't the only one who made his Triple-A debut this week. As the number 3 prospect in the system, according to MLB Pipeline, Caden Bodine found his way in Durham as well. This is the fourth level Bodine will play in this season, as he began in Low-A.
The 22-year-old catcher has certainly surprised many inside the organization and is making a fast track towards the top of the team's prospect list, as well as the short list for making his major league debut sooner rather than later.

In his first four games with the Bulls, he showed off his power in a big way, hitting two home runs, picking up five RBIs, and recording a 1.567 OPS in the process. Both the home runs came on the same day for Bodine, but each came from a different side of the plate from the switch hitter.
In other news, newly named top prospect and recent first-round selection Grady Emerson made his professional debut on August 19th and has played 8 games so far for the Charleston Riverdogs.
The 18-year-old is still adapting to minor league baseball, hitting .194/.324/.258 With only 6 hits and 7 strikeouts, he is continuing to show progress as a promising future star in this league.
It'll be interesting to see which prospects or minor leaguers, including Erik Neander in the Rays organization, the team decides to call up on Tuesday, when the active roster expands to 28 for the month of September. Pitchers like Ty Johnson, who's considered the 10th-best prospect in the Rays organization, are a frontrunner to be added to the bullpen.
