- UEFA Champions League Matchday 4 Predictions Including Bayern Munich at Atletico Madrid

After Wednesday, the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League, league phase will be halfway to a conclusion. The intensity and value of the matches is starting to ramp up as teams try to secure their position for further passage in Europe. Here are your previews and predictions for the Tuesday matches.
Shakhtar misses Pedrinho, Sporting are without Zeno Debast and suffered a shock defeat to LASK of Austria on the 21st of October. These are two sides with inconsistency and the match is played in London. Sporting has the more experienced side and tends to play at a higher level on an ongoing basis, but Shakhtar are chippy enough to come away with a point.
Prediction: 1-1 Draw
After Barcelona inflicted a heavy defeat on Galatasaray they have won four matches in a row including a 4-2 win over Lille on the 21st of October. Stuttgart's last match in Europe was a 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid, and they beat Leverkusen comfortably 4-2 on the weekend in the Bundesliga with Ermedin Demirovic scoring a brace. Playing in Istanbul gives Galatasaray an advantage and Victor Osimhen is on song right now, that should be enough.
Prediction: Galatasaray2-1
Under emergency manager Aaron Danks after Vincent Kompany fell ill, Bayern will go into Madrid to take on a quality Atletico Madrid side. Bayern was held to a 2-2 draw against Dortmund on the weekend and added to their injury bill, with Ismael Saibari and Serge Gnabry injured in the process, they have also been held to consecutive draws in Europe.
Atletico Madrid are on a roll in Spain, second on the table and two points off of Barcelona's mark. The European results aren't as dominant, but at home with a fitter squad they should have the upper hand on matchday 4.
Prediction: Atletico Madrid3-1
Aston Villa are a high scoring side, inconsistent in the Premier League but off to a good start in Europe. Barcelona finally had their momentum halted, losing to Real Madrid in El Clasico, after losing to PSG in the last UEFA Champions League match. Still, they responded with a routine 6-1 win over Alaves over the weekend. Raphinha, when healthy, has a case as the best player in the world on form. With Barca suffering defensive absences including Eric Garcia, this match could turn into a track meet.
Prediction: Barcelona3-2
Inter Milan dropped another Milan derby to AC Milan on the weekend, and they are without Lautaro Martinez and Alessandro Bastoni for this match. Feyenoord look like the best Dutch league team this season and are playing at home. With Inter Milan already wobbling, Feyenoord should take advantage of this opportunity.
Prediction: Feyenoord2-1
Bodo/Glimt at home have turned into one of the most difficult teams to face in Europe, and they come off a win over fellow Champions League team Viking in Norwegian domestic action on the weekend. Lille misses Ethan Mbappe and have gone without points in Europe so far. Lille may have more pedigree, but at this point, at home, Bodo are the better side.
Prediction: Bodo/Glimt2-1
Linz upset Sporting CP 3-2, Andraz Sporar does return for Slovan Bratislava, but they have struggled in this competition and that doesn't appear likely to end for an away trip to Austria. Neither team may factor in the competitions later stages, but LASK has the edge on merit today.
Prediction: LASK2-0

It's the danger zone for Manchester United , early talk of a relegation battle as they are on a long winless streak. Michael Carrick is still holding the managerial reins, but at home against Roma the Red Devils need to respond. Roma are one of the best teams in Italy right now, their best results in over a decade. They are without Mile Svilar and Paulo Dybala, the injury concerns are real, but Manchester United's shambles on both sides of the field stand out.
Prediction: Roma1-0
PSG's win over Barcelona at home in October lets them keep their Champions of Europe crown even longer. Villarreal are the next Spanish opponent, and their level, even at home, is below the reigning La Liga Champions FCB. While Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is out, with a torn ACL, this is a struggling Villarreal side and PSG has enough depth to replace him and keep it rolling. It's hard to see this being competitive.
Prediction: PSG4-1
