For the opening of the 21st round of the Bundesliga 2025/26, Union Berlin and Eintracht Frankfurt drew 1-1 this Friday (6th).
The game was not a masterpiece of technique or excitement.
At 30 minutes into the second half, Kohn hit the post for Frankfurt and excited the home crowd.
And the last ten minutes were more lively.
Nathaniel Brown finished from inside the box and opened the scoring for Eintracht Frankfurt.
However, shortly after, following a foul in the area by Oscar Hojlund and his consequent expulsion for a second yellow card, Leopold Querfeld equalized for Union Berlin with a penalty kick.
With the result, Eintracht Frankfurt is in seventh place with 28 points, while Union Berlin is in ninth place with 25 points.
