- New Video Shows Potential Filip Hronek Trade From The Canucks To The Bruins
It appears the Boston Bruins at least explored trading for Filip Hronek this past off-season. In a recently released episode of " Behind the B ," an interesting trade proposal appeared. Below is a screenshot from the 12:06 mark of the video.

While it is a little difficult to see, the proposed trade with the Vancouver Canucks would be Hronek for defensive prospect Liam Pettersson, a 2027 first-round pick and a 2029 first-round pick. Unfortunately, there are no discussions about this trade during the posted video. Any trade for Hronek would need the player's approval, as he has a no-movement clause.

As for Pettersson, he is a 19-year-old left-shot defenceman set to play this season in the U20 Nationell and the SHL . Listed at 6'2", 170 lbs, he was drafted 61st overall in 2025 by the Bruins . If this trade had gone through, the Canucks would once again have three Petterssons in the organization.
