Minnesota continues to try to build depth at running back while Jordan Mason is on IR. And with Chuck Demmings missing a second day of practice on Thursday with a hamstring injury, the cornerback room's depth is being tested. Hekker could be needed again as rookie punter Brett Thorson hasn't practiced since injuring his hamstring against the Chicago Bears in Week 2.
