Walker Little's fill-in job for the Jacksonville Jaguars just turned into the rest of the season. Anton Harrison will miss the final 11 games after surgery Thursday revealed a torn ACL, according to ESPN , which leaves the left tackle spot to the sixth-year veteran who already got his first test against Will Anderson Jr. in London.
Little played all 70 offensive snaps in the 34-31 loss to the Texans , with Anderson and Danielle Hunter coming off the edge. He earned a 76.9 pass-blocking grade in that game but just 58.7 as a run blocker, according to PFF.
What Walker Little's numbers say so far

That split runs through his whole season. Little's 83.3 pass-blocking grade ranks fifth among 74 qualified tackles on his PFF page , and he hasn't allowed a sack or a QB hit. The sample is small, though, at 125 offensive snaps and two pressures allowed. His 57.5 run-blocking grade ranks 52nd. Harrison graded 70.1 as a run blocker before the injury, and the Jaguars moved him to the left side in camp partly to help a run game that ranked 14th, up from 20th in 2025 . Little is now the one opening holes on that side for a backfield Bhayshul Tuten leads .
The coaching staff doesn't treat him like a stopgap. "I don't look at Walker as a backup tackle or a backup guard," offensive coordinator Grant Udinski said before the Houston game . Liam Coen saw something different in the run game than the grades did. "He's long and did some really good things in the run game," the head coach said of Little's work against the Eagles, via the team's website . Trevor Lawrence put it simply: "I trust him. I don't have any hesitations about him."
Little came into the Texans game with 39 career starts, 31 at left tackle, but concussion, ankle and hamstring injuries have cost him games in past seasons . Behind him, right tackle Cole Van Lanen is the only other healthy tackle on the active roster. There's money riding on this stretch, too. Little carries a $15.56 million cap number in 2027, and the Jaguars could save about $10.9 million by releasing him, according to Spotrac's numbers . If he holds up on the left side for a team still sitting atop the AFC South , that decision gets a lot easier to make in his favor.
