The Golden State Warriors ' 2025-26 season may be over, but Draymond Green is not letting up his desire to antagonize opposing fanbases. On Sunday, the future Hall of Famer may have taken things a step too far when responding to a New York Knicks fan on social media.
The fan, @hanahoops, taunted Green to "COME OUTSIDE B****," perhaps in reference to Green's appearance on Saturday's edition of "Inside the NBA," prior to Game 3 of the Knicks' series vs the Cleveland Cavaliers .
In response, Green wrote, "Watch your mouth before I crush those dirty a** kids in your banner," referencing the small children on the user's profile page.
It was certainly not the finest moment for Green, with some users wondering if he had been hacked. However, in the several minutes leading up to the viral exchange, Green had responded to other fans on X with more toned-down comments, so it doesn't appear that he was.
It certainly wouldn't be a shock to see this post end up deleted, but surely countless users screenshotted it, so the damage had already been done.
It remains to be seen if the Warriors or league office will comment on the threat, however joking it may have been.
Meanwhile, the Warriors have had an eventful offseason, recently bringing back Steve Kerr to be their head coach on a new two-year deal, and hoping to use some of their assets, including a lottery pick in the upcoming draft, to wring whatever they can out of the twilight years of Green and Stephen Curry 's career.
The team will certainly hope that Green is able to keep his off-court distractions to a minimum as the offseason heads into the summer months.
