On Sunday, the Warriors officially signed a 6-foot-11 ex- Oklahoma City Thunder and Miami Heat center to assist Stephen Curry .
"The Warriors have signed center Ömer (oh-MIAR) Yurtseven (yurts-seven) to a 10-day contract," the franchise announced Sunday. "

There's no question that the Georgetown product's stint with the Heat was far more memorable, as he was a part of the 2022-23 Heat team that shockingly defeated the Milwaukee Bucks , New York Knicks , and Boston Celtics to advance to the NBA Finals.
Although Yurtseven didn't log a second during that year's postseason, it's still beneficial that the 27-year-old has valuable championship experience at this stage of his career. Yurtseven has appeared in two games with the Dubs so far, contributing 1.0 points and 2.0 rebounds per game in 7.5 minutes.
Yurtseven still has a few more days remaining on his contract to prove that he's worth another deal with the seven-time NBA champions.
