"I'm not even close to the player I once was. But Kendrick Perkins, the difference between myself and big dummies like you is that I can think," Green said on his podcast.

"When your body wasn't the same no more or as athletic as you once were, it looked a little different for you because you weren't the smartest basketball player."
Green received two technicals on one play, and his heated interactions with Suns guard Dillon Brooks went viral on social media. The two attempted to put their arms around each other and had to be separated.
Green's ejection was discussed on ESPN's "First Take" the following morning, and Perkins didn't hold back.

"When was the last time we discussed Draymond Green and brought him up for his basketball and not fighting? At some point, he has to deliver on the floor," Perkins said.

"And when you look at the start of this season, Draymond Green has been nonexistent. He has done absolutely nothing for the Golden State Warriors. To me, he has been a liability more than an asset."
Green has struggled offensively to start the season, averaging 3.2 points per game. At 36 years old, his defensive prowess has declined, but he remains a talented veteran because of his basketball IQ.
