Over the course of the last several years, there have been some unflattering stories told of former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre . While he is considered one of the greatest players of all time and is in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, there seem to be more and more stories coming out from his time in the NFL that do not paint him in the best light.
Of course, there are multiple documentaries that talk about his less than stellar behavior in New York and Minnesota, as well as the allegations from a few years ago regarding his alleged involvement in the Mississippi Welfare Scam.
Aaron Rodgers , too, has not been shy about how difficult life was under Favre during his early days with the Packers. At least he got to talk and learn, though. Matt Hasselbeck , who was with the Packers from 1998-2000, recently revealed that the Hall of Fame quarterback would not permit him to talk in the QB meeting room.

During a recent podcast appearance, Hasselbeck got brutally honest that life in Green Bay sitting behind Favre was not as great as people thought it was.
"People are like, 'Oh, you played in Green Bay.' It's like, well, I was the starting holder for field goals and kickers in Green Bay. More accurate would be: you were allowed to be in the quarterback room when Mike Holmgren and Andy Reid were coaching Brett Favre," Hasselbeck said .
"Now, I wasn't allowed to talk. The backup quarterbacks were Doug Pederson and Rick Mirer. So I would write down all the questions that I would ask if I was allowed to talk in the meeting. 'What does this mean? What does that mean?' On the walk from the quarterback room to the locker room, I would ask Doug Pederson or Rick Mirer. 'What do they mean when they say Cover 4?' They'd explain it to me. Having those veteran quarterbacks translate it was incredibly helpful."
Whatever he learned or did in Green Bay sure made an impression on Coach Holmgren, who brought Hasselbeck to Seattle in 2001 to be his starting quarterback. While there, the former Favre backup made three Pro Bowls and led the Seahawks to a Super Bowl appearance.
In 17 professional seasons, Hasselbeck had a 60.5% completion percentage, 36,638 passing yards, 212 touchdowns, 153 interceptions, and a passer rating of 82.4.
