The myth that an average guy off the street could hold his own against a WNBA pro just got a brutal real-world reality check.
Every time the topic comes up, comment sections split down the middle, half arguing that raw size gives casual hoopers an edge, the other half pointing out the obvious gap in professional skill.
It's an ongoing debate that resurfaces whenever internet creators step onto the floor with pro athletes. And naturally, whenever one of these matchups actually gets filmed, fans jump at the chance to see how that theory plays out in real life.
That exact dynamic played out when WNBA guard Rae Burrell popped up on streamer N3on's Kick broadcast for a quick 1v1.
Right from the first check-in, the speed difference was ridiculous. Burrell blew right past him to the cup with zero effort, making high-level footwork look like a walk in the park. After getting completely left in the dust on one drive, N3on couldn't even hide his shock, blurting out, "damn you are fast, holy s **."*
It didn't get any easier for him from there. Burrell kept cooking him off the dribble and topped it off by burying a couple of nasty stepback threes right in his face.
N3on took the L gracefully enough, admitting to his chat, "I don't usually lose 1v1s, so this is rare for me."
