Carlo Ancelotti announced Brazil's squad for the next international break on Thursday (29).
And some omissions from the squad for the matches against Japan and Singapore drew particular attention on social media.
The CBF made it clear that it avoided calling up players from Flamengo and Palmeiras, who are battling for the Brasileirão title.
Flamengo, for example, had Emerson Royal, Paquetá, Samuel Lino and Pedro as options.
There was also a limit of just one call-up per Brazilian club represented in the squad.
It is worth remembering that João Pedro and Marquinhos are injured. And goalkeeper Alisson, according to Ancelotti, does not need to be tested.
Check out the players most frequently mentioned among those left out.

He still has just one senior Brazil appearance to his name.
The Santos striker is enjoying a very strong 2026: he has 25 goals and ten assists this year.
Ancelotti said he is keeping an eye on the number 9.
Cruzeiro's goalscorer is another player enjoying a strong season: 21 goals and four assists.
He would give Brazil another option as a natural number 9, a role expected to be filled by Raphinha or Endrick.
