- West Ham begin active transfer hunt after Soungoutou Magassa and Mohamadou Kante exit latest
West Ham United duo Soungoutou Magassa and Mohamadou Kante face an uncertain future.
The Hammers' midfield duo only joined last summer, but their situations will be worth watching closely.
As things stand, Nuno Espirito Santo doesn't have many senior options in the engine room, but they did recently sign Arne Engels from Celtic.

Magassa and Kante could now be on their way out of London Stadium in the final weeks of the transfer window.
The Irons will need to add depth to their squad in case there are departures from the middle of the park.
It looks like Edson Alvarez and James Ward-Prowse could stay at the East London club, which may influence their decision regarding other players.
West Ham plans emerge for Soungoutou Magassa and Mohamadou Kante
Magassa seems to be angling for a West Ham exit after his recent social media activity, removing all mention of the club from his Instagram and blacking out his profile picture.
Kante also looks to be in demand this summer, and it looks like both midfielders are staring at a move away from London Stadium.

According to Alan Nixon via his Patreon on 16 August, Magassa and Kante could both leave in this window.
The Irons are open to offers for the two Frenchmen.
If the right offers arrive for the 22-year-old and 20-year-old, then the East London outfit could let them go, provided suitable replacements can be found with late deals this transfer window.
As things stand, the Hammers are actively looking for players who could take their places in Nuno's squad for the 2026-27 campaign.

West Ham have brought in significant funds from the sales of Mateus Fernandes and Crysencio Summerville , but haven't spent much.
There will certainly be question marks around the Hammers' defence as there has been plenty of speculation about players leaving.
The midfield certainly needs more creativity, even after Engels' arrival.
Up front, Jarrod Bowen will surely overpower most defences with his qualities in the Championship, while Taty Castellanos has shown he can be a reliable outlet.
An experienced number nine could potentially also help the Irons almost guarantee automatic promotion to the Premier League.
