Dez Bryant has already picked out his drink order for a potential meeting with Donald Trump. Whether the president accepts is another question.
With Marlon Humphrey facing criticism after visiting Trump in Baltimore County, Bryant jumped into the conversation on Thursday. The former Dallas Cowboys receiver made it clear that he would happily pose for a photo himself.

Dez Bryant Pushes Back on Criticism of Marlon Humphrey
Bryant's response came after reporter Clarence Hill Jr. criticized Humphrey's comments about voting. Hill shared remarks attributed to the cornerback about not voting in the last election and not believing he had ever voted, adding his own assessment.
Bryant quoted that post and questioned why Humphrey's comments warranted the reaction. He then volunteered exactly how he would handle an opportunity to meet Trump.
"Why does it matter? I'm telling the world now… as soon as I see Trump… I'm taking a photo with him… I hope he's down to have a margarita,"Bryant wrote.
The margarita line gave Bryant's response a playful finish, but his objection was clear. He saw no reason to pile on Humphrey and was comfortable putting himself in the same conversation.
His post also described a future encounter. Bryant wasn't announcing that he had met Trump or that drinks were on anyone's calendar. For now, the invitation exists entirely in a social media post.
Humphrey's Presidential Visit Becomes an NFL Talking Point
The Baltimore Ravens cornerback attended Trump's Tuesday appearance at Tradepoint Atlantic alongside kicker Tyler Loop, punter Ryan Eckley and long snapper Nick Moore. The event focused on a planned manufacturing facility for submarine components.
Humphrey also rode in the presidential motorcade. The players later described the visit as an opportunity they wanted to experience, while Humphrey's explanation of his voting history generated further attention.
The appearance had already prompteda wave of reactions to the Ravens players' meeting with Trump. Bryant's response addressed Hill's criticism directly, adding another prominent football voice to a discussion that had quickly expanded beyond the original visit.
Baltimore, meanwhile, has football concerns waiting when the political discussion runs out of steam. The Ravens are 3–1 following their Week 4 victory over the Tennessee Titans, with the Atlanta Falcons next on the schedule.
Through Week 4, Baltimore ranks No. 18 inPFN's Defense Impact Rankings, with a 74.3 grade and 24 points allowed per game. Humphrey's unit has room to improve as the season moves forward.
Bryant's position required considerably less explanation, as given the same opportunity, he would take the picture. Apparently, he would also check whether anybody had a margarita menu.
